Dr. Nathan Gainer, Founder/ Sr. Pastor
Christ Temple Ministries, Church of God in Christ Biographical Sketch
Dr. Nathan Gainer is an ordained elder for over thirty years in the National Church of God in Christ worldwide. He is the Sr. Pastor of Christ Temple Ministries and the Superintendent of the Central Jersey District, Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Hersey L. Taylor, Central Jersey Fellowship, state of New Jersey. Dr. Gainer serves as Chairman on the Jurisdictional Examination and Ordination Board for the Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
Dr. Gainer is affiliated with the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches, Inc. under the leadership of Bishop David G. Evans, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church, Lindenwold, New Jersey and was appointed the District Overseer of the Central and Northern Jersey District. Also, Dr. Gainer provides spiritual covering and covenant for several pastors, minsters and churches and established the Kingdom Life Conference in order to educate, strengthen and build the kingdom of God.
Dr. Gainer was educated in the public schools of New Jersey and received honors ranking second in his graduating class. He is a graduate of Naval Instructor School, Newport, Rhode Island and has served three years as a Naval Instructor in Ewing Township, West Trenton, New Jersey which is a part of his seven year career in the United States Navy. He attended Essex County College in West Caldwell, New Jersey where he maintained a 3.5 GPA.
Dr. Gainer attended Evangelical Bible Institute, Temple Bible Institute (The School of Acts), and also the North Carolina College of Theology where he received his Doctorate of Divinity. Dr. Gainer is the President of New Jersey Tri-County College of Theology, which is a Satellite School of North Carolina College of Theology. Dr. Gainer also serves as the dean for Harvest Bible Institute, Lindenwold, New Jersey.
His ministry encompasses street ministry, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, jails, prisons, revivals, workshops, marriage conferences and life changing services. He is the founder and president of “Eagles Gathering Fellowship” involving various churches. He believes that there is hope for everyone in spite of devastating circumstances of all sorts.
Dr. Gainer is the husband of Evangelist Regina Gainer and the father of four children. A purpose-driven couple, they minister the gospel of Jesus Christ with compassion and love. He is a man known for the anointing and the power of God with signs following. The prophetic and apostolic anointing in his life has begun a work of mentoring, fellowship and establishment of upcoming pastors in the Body of Christ. The heart felt message he conveys, “As God sent Jesus, He also sends us” to do the same works that Jesus did and “GREATER”.
